Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TaalKlaar. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

TaalKlaar provides independently created Dutch exam-preparation sets, timed mini-mocks, practice simulations, and AI-assisted feedback. Content and scores are for study purposes and are not an official DUO assessment or a guarantee of passing any exam.

2. Accounts

You sign in with a passwordless email link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. You must be 16 or older, or have guardian consent, to create an account.

3. Plans & payment

  • A free tier provides limited content. Pro unlocks the full course and AI feedback.
  • Pro is billed monthly or yearly via Mollie. Prices are shown in euros and include VAT where applicable.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Right of withdrawal

Where required by EU consumer law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. By starting to use paid digital content immediately you may waive this right; we will make this clear at checkout.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no automated scraping, attempts to bypass access controls, abuse of AI endpoints, or uploading unlawful content. We may rate-limit or suspend accounts that do.

6. Intellectual property

Course content, exercises and branding are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own exam preparation.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for exam outcomes. Nothing limits liability that cannot be excluded under Dutch law.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by Dutch law; disputes fall under the competent courts of the Netherlands.
